Relief for small businesses available TODAY

Right now, many businesses, especially small businesses, are struggling to make payroll for their employees.

The CARES Act, which President Trump signed last week, created the Paycheck Protection Program. This program provides $349 billion in loans to help businesses pay their employees and remain solvent throughout this crisis.

Small businesses can now apply for the Paycheck Protection Program!

Here's what you need to know about the Paycheck Protection Program:

  • Offers up to eight weeks of cash-flow to help small businesses pay their employees.
  • Portions of loan used for payroll costs, interest on mortgage obligations, rent, and utilities would be entirely forgiven.
  • Can be applied to costs incurred since February 15th, 2020.

For more information, visit the Treasury Department's Assistance for Small Businesses page here.

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and it is critical that they have the liquidity needed to keep workers employed.

I strongly encourage every small business in Georgia that needs help to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program today.
