Here are a few highlights from this week:

1. Real Consequences

Washington needs to put in place a politically-neutral platform to fund the government on time every year, just like every other entity in the world does. If Congress fails to get the job done, real consequences must be imposed on lawmakers.

2. Georgians Leading The Way

The Senate confirmed Judge Lisa Branch from Atlanta to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, which is just one level below the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Branch has had an impressive legal career and was a great selection by President Trump.

3. Honoring America's Pastor

On Wednesday, I was honored to join thousands of Americans to pay my respects to Reverend Billy Graham, who laid in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. Reverend Graham had a profound impact on our country, and his legacy will live on for generations to come.
