More relief for small businesses

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was created to help small businesses stay open and pay their employees during this COVID-19 crisis. Unfortunately, due to high demand, this program ran out of funding last week.

Now, more relief for small businesses is on the way.

Yesterday, Congress passed a bill that will provide $310 billion in additional funds to replenish the Paycheck Protection Program. It also includes:

  • $75 billion for hospitals and health care providers.
  • $25 billion to expand testing capacity.
  • $60 billion for economic loans and grants.

Once signed into law by President Trump, this critical funding will immediately start flowing to those who need it.

This new funding will offer a lifeline to Georgia small businesses and the hardworking women and men they employ.
