1. Aflac Visit
On Thursday, Congressman Drew Ferguson and I visited Aflac's world headquarters in Columbus to meet with employees and hear about the positive impact tax cuts are having on their business, workers, and community.
The United States has been a consistently dominant economic force in the world for over a century, but China is catching up. We must not be complacent. The United States must act now by developing a long-term strategy with China. Otherwise, America may have to settle for second place.

3. Saluting Heroes
This week, Southwest Airlines Flight 1380 crewmembers and passengers were honored at the White House for their swift action during an in-flight emergency. In particular, President Trump thanked Captain Tammie Jo Shults, who drew from her years of experience as a U.S. Navy fighter pilot and landed the plane successfully.
