Disaster relief is on the way.

Yesterday, President Trump fulfilled his promise to help Georgia farmers and communities rebuild after Hurricane Michael’s devastation.

He signed a $19.1 billion disaster relief package into law – including $3 billion to cover agriculture losses.

This is great news for Georgia and means our farmers and producers will finally have access to the resources they need to replant, rebuild, and recover.

Disaster relief should never be a partisan issue. The American people need to know that we will have their backs in times of need.

While it should not have taken eight months to pass this bipartisan disaster relief package, we finally got it done.

P.S. I joined Hugh Hewitt’s radio show this week to talk about how we got this through the Senate. Listen here.
