Here are a few things I thought you might want to know:
1. 4 Pinocchios
Democrats have repeatedly made false claims about our efforts to change the tax code and finally bring some relief to working Americans. Even The Washington Post gave them 4 Pinocchios:
"In their haste to condemn the GOP tax plan, Democrats have spread far and wide the false claim that families making less than $86,100 on average will face a hefty tax hike. Actually, it's the opposite. Most families in that income range would get a tax cut. Any Democrat who spread this claim should delete their tweets and make it clear they were in error."
2. Working With President Trump On Immigration
Yesterday, I met with President Trump at the White House to continue working to fix our country's immigration problems. The RAISE Act, which President Trump supports, would end chain migration, eliminate the outdated Diversity Visa Lottery, and move us to a merit-based immigration system. Read more about our meeting in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
3. One more thing...
This chart from the Tax Foundation shows how changing the tax code will impact American families.
