2020 is a chance to build on our momentum
2019 was a record-breaking year for our country.
As a result of President Trump’s winning agenda, we are experiencing the greatest economic turnaround in U.S. history. We created over 7 million new jobs and national unemployment is the lowest it’s been in 50 years. We have new trade deals across the world that will directly benefit American workers, farmers, and businesses.
In October, U.S. Special Forces took out ISIS’ top leaders, making the world a much safer place.
Our results-oriented attitude in Washington has also brought real results to Georgia.
The Savannah Harbor Expansion Project is on track for completion in 2022. After Hurricane Michael devastated farmers in Southwest Georgia, President Trump broke through the partisan logjam and delivered much-needed disaster relief. We passed a major defense bill to support Georgia’s military community and give our men and women in uniform a well-deserved 3.1% pay raise.
In December, news broke that Georgia’s unemployment is the lowest it’s ever been.
We can build on this momentum in 2020.
Unfortunately, Democrats have shown they will do whatever it takes to obstruct the President’s agenda, including the U.S. House’s sham impeachment proceeding. In this new year, the U.S. Senate will ensure President Trump gets a fair trial, so we can move on and get back to work for the American people.
With President Trump in the White House, we will continue to get results for Georgia and the entire country. The coming years could be our safest and most prosperous yet.
