Senator David Perdue: We Must Stand In Solidarity To Protect The Unborn

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) comments on the United States Senate’s action to bring the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to the Senate floor for a vote:

“Just last week, Georgians and Americans from all over the country traveled to our nation’s capital to express their support for protecting the unborn. We have a moral obligation to fight on behalf of those who can’t fight for themselves. As a father and grandfather, I have witnessed the miracle of life and cannot imagine anyone not wanting to protect the life of an unborn child. In just a few days, the Senate will vote to end late-term abortions, and I sincerely hope that everyone in Congress will unite and stand in solidarity to protect the unborn.”

Senator Perdue is the only Fortune 500 CEO in Congress and is serving his first term in the United States Senate, where he represents Georgia on the Armed Services, Banking, Budget, and Agriculture Committees.
