Senator David Perdue: It is Our Nation’s Duty to Fulfill the Promises Made to Our Veterans

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) released the following statement after the U.S. Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act and the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act:

“It is our nation’s duty to fulfill the promises made to our veterans, and provide our active duty soldiers with the tools and training they need to succeed. Our servicewomen and men deserve quality health care, modern military facilities, and workforce training to help them transition back to civilian life when they return home. Our troops and their families have sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and we will always honor and support their service.”
