Senator David Perdue Commemorates 9/11

“The men and women who rushed to danger are true American heroes.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) released the following statement on the eighteenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks:

“September 11, 2001 was one of the darkest days in our country’s history. The men and women who rushed to danger as the Twin Towers crumbled are true American heroes. As our country faces evolving threats around the world, the terrorist attacks on September 11th serve as a reminder that we must remain vigilant in defending our homeland. We will never forget the innocent lives lost, nor the bravery of the first responders. Thank you to all those in uniform who fight to protect our nation. We are forever grateful for your service and sacrifice.”
