Senator David Perdue Announces Agriculture Subcommittee Assignments

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) today announced his subcommittee assignments for the 115th Congress on the Senate Agriculture Committee: Chairman of Livestock, Marketing, and Agriculture Security; Nutrition, Agriculture Research, and Specialty Crops; and Commodities, Risk Management, and Trade.

“Agriculture is Georgia’s biggest industry,” said Senator Perdue. “It's humbling to represent our farm families and agricultural traditions through this committee. Out-of-control regulations have hurt farmers, and I look forward to being a voice for a thriving agriculture industry in Georgia and the United States.”

More about Senator Perdue’s subcommittee assignments:

  • Chairman of Livestock, Marketing, and Agriculture Security: Oversees matters involving livestock and dairy production, as well as markets, food safety, and security issues.
