Roswell-Based Foster Care Support Foundation Receives National Honor
“Their tireless efforts have improved the lives of thousands of children”
ATLANTA, GA – The Foster Care Support Foundation, founded by Rachel Ewald and based in Roswell, Georgia, has been named a 2020 Angels in Adoption Honoree by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI). The organization was nominated for the national honor by U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA).
“The Foster Care Support Foundation has provided care and comfort to over 66,000 children in the state of Georgia,” said Senator Perdue. “Their tireless efforts have improved the lives of thousands of children and offered an invaluable support system to Georgia’s foster families. It is my high honor to help recognize the Foster Care Support Foundation for all they do to support our community.”
As of 2020, over 15,000 children in Georgia are placed in foster care. The Foster Care Support Foundation provides free clothing, infant equipment, developmental toys, school supplies, and other resources to thousands of children in foster and relative care in Georgia.
