Senator David Perdue Urges President Obama To Support Our Troops

Our troops have willfully answered the call of duty and it’s time for President Obama to follow suit

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In advance of President Obama's veto of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA), a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement:

“Our servicewomen and men are deployed around the world to combat threats, adversaries and terrorism, as well as to support our allies. Despite this dangerous reality, President Obama is neglecting the needs of these brave women and men by not providing them with a clear strategy to combat these threats or the resources they need. Our troops have willfully answered the call of duty and it’s time for President Obama to follow suit and sign the National Defense Authorization Act into law.”
